Where the Bible data comes from
The word-by-word tagged Bible text is built from MetaVby Robert Rouse — a remarkable open dataset linking every word of the KJV (1769) to its Strong's number. It is shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence, and this page is that attribution. Thank you, Robert.
The dictionary definitions come from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance by James Strong (1890), which is in the public domain. The King James text itself is also public domain.
Where the spoken audio comes from
The verse-by-verse audio is the MP3 Bible by Eliran Wong, shared under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, and this page is that attribution. Thank you, Eliran.
The voice is generated by text-to-speech rather than read by a person, so it can sound mechanical — but it means every one of the 31,102 verses is covered, and each can be played on its own.
